For those who love fishing, the opening of the trout fishing is always a great moment. A day not to be missed to take out the rod and wait patiently for the first toque.
Lake or river fishing?
This year, everywhere in France, this opening will take place on Saturday 13th March 2021. Around the La Tour de France campsite, it is on the banks of the river Agly that fishermen will be able to settle down and fish for trout. They will be allowed to do so from March 13th to September 20th. But in the Pyrénées-Orientales, the passion for fishing can be experienced on a daily basis. The campsite La Tour de France is ideally situated for fishing and for visiting the various lakes in the department. We will help you to find your way between the lakes and rivers bordering the campsite.
- Lake on the Agly (15 min from the campsite)
The lake of the Agly dam is located in the commune of Caramany. It is one of the largest lakes in the department with a surface area of 273 hectares. It is subject to numerous recommendations that we invite you to consult directly on the lake's website before going there: EN SAVOIR +. - Millas fishing pole (15 min from the campsite)
In this lake totally dedicated to fishing, you will find 4 distinct areas, each with its own speciality: carpodrome, No kill course, lure fishing ... It is the ideal place to learn how to fish with your family.EN SAVOIR + - Le Soler leisure fishing course (20 min)
Specialised in trout fishing, the releases are numerous and allow all anglers to find their happiness. TO KNOW MORE - Fishing lake of Vinça or Prades (30 to 40 min from the campsite)
A little further away from the campsite, but still very accessible, is Lake Vinça. Ideal for family swimming on one side and fishing on the other. Fishing purists will undoubtedly prefer the fishing lake of Prades, where trout fishing is frequent during the opening period. This area is also ideal for discovering the many No Kill courses installed on the river Têt.

New playground for children
For the 2020 season, we have launched renovation work on the children's playground.
First of all, we wanted to give it more space by encroaching on the boulodrome, which has been moved.
The children's playground is now made up of all-wood structures (solid Robinia wood) and games from the Kompan brand. A large hut with a slide and a small house make up the part for the little ones.
A wooden structure with net, ropes and rings makes up the sports course for the older children. The playground is completed by spring games and two table tennis tables. A new, very pleasant living area in perfect harmony with nature.
