Sharing and hospitality during your stay

A warm welcome, sound advice, welcome drinks, market and wine tasting are all moments of sharing that will punctuate your week of holidays at the campsite.

At the La Tour de France campsite (66), we are keen to show you that these values are omnipresent and that they contribute greatly to the success of your stay in the hinterland of Catalonia.

The regional aperitif

In July and August, throughout the week, we offer you friendly meetings, to exchange with you and guide you in the best way possible during your stay at the campsite La Tour de France (66-Pyrénées-Orientales).

The regional aperitif is a must. A tradition that has been in place since the creation of the campsite and which, every year, attracts newcomers.
The principle: on Sunday evening, once you have settled in, we meet you on the campsite square for the regional aperitif. A welcome drink during which we suggest that you bring a speciality from your region for your neighbour to discover. For this occasion, the campsite offers you its homemade sangria.

This convivial moment is also conducive to exchanges. This is why we invite our partners to this drink.  Climbing, canyoning, wine or cultural visits, yoga…so many activities that you will be able to practice during your stay in the Arrière Pays-Catalan, only a few kilometres from Perpignan.

Natural and authentic activities that we like to highlight at the La Tour de France campsite (66).

The farmers' market

Promoting local producers, short circuits and local consumption is one of our priorities. A strong commitment to make La Tour de France campsite a natural and responsible campsite. This is why two producers’ markets will be offered to you during your stay.

The first market takes place just a few metres from the campsite, in the Petit Bois area. A market of organic and local producers where you will find: fruits and vegetables, cheeses, eggs, artisanal beer, honey …. A beautiful showcase of local and organic agriculture in the Pyrénées-Orientales (66 Perpignan). For it is indeed one of the particularities of the village of Latour-de-France. A small village typical of the south, where local and organic production plays an important role.

A second market takes place in the campsite.  Organic peaches, apricots and vegetables are sold there directly by a local producer. It is also the occasion to come and taste wines from the Cellier Trémoine (village of Rasiguères-Perpignan) . The wine growers will come to you to talk to you about their work, their vines and their wines. A beautiful moment of sharing which often leads you to go, afterwards, to meet them in their vineyards.

This small market is also an opportunity to discover the local craftsmanship with the creations of Lélé Mes Créas.
